Bulls Guard Looking to 'Talk A Little Trash' to Knicks Star
Coby White eager to test himself against rising star
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White is looking forward to facing off against New York Knicks rising star RJ Barrett when the two teams meet on Wednesday night.
"He's a great player," White said of Barrett. "He's really come into his own this season. He's a tough matchup, but I'm looking forward to the challenge."
White is averaging 15.8 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game this season, while Barrett is averaging 19.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
"I think it's going to be a good matchup," White said. "He's a big, strong guard, and I'm a little smaller, but I think I can use my quickness to my advantage."
White is hoping to help the Bulls snap a two-game losing streak, while the Knicks are looking to extend their winning streak to three games.
"We're going to have to play our best game to beat them," White said. "But I think we can do it."
The Bulls and Knicks will tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.
