Céline Dion opened up to the public about her struggles and the love and support she received from her fans
Céline Dion returned to the Paris stage on Friday, July 7, 2023, after a six-year absence. The concert was part of her Courage World Tour, which had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dion's last performance in Paris was at the Accor Arena in 2017. She was scheduled to return in 2020, but the pandemic forced her to postpone her tour.
In an interview with French TV channel TF1, Dion said she was "very, very happy" to finally be back in Paris. "I've been waiting to come back for so long," she said. "I'm so excited to see my fans again."
Dion's Paris concert was a huge success. She performed some of her greatest hits, including "My Heart Will Go On," "The Power of Love," and "I'm Alive." The audience gave her a standing ovation at the end of the show.
In the interview, Dion also talked about her struggles with the pandemic. She said that she had "lost everything" during the lockdown, including her voice. "But I'm back now," she said. "And I'm stronger than ever."
Dion also thanked her fans for their love and support. "I wouldn't be where I am today without them," she said. "They're the ones who kept me going during the difficult times."
Dion's Courage World Tour will continue throughout Europe until October 2023. She will then head to North America for a series of concerts in November and December.
