Chelsea boss makes four changes for Celtic showdown

Chelsea Women boss Sonia Bompastor has made four changes to her starting line-up for tonight’s Women’s Champions League clash with Celtic at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie.

Goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger, defender Kadeisha Buchanan, midfielder Jessie Fleming and forward Bethany England all come into the team, replacing Mélisande Nóméand, Charlotte Wardlaw, Guro Reiten and Niamh Charles.

The Blues are looking to make it three wins from three in Group A, having beaten Vllaznia Shkodrë 8-0 and Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in their opening two matches.

Celtic looking to cause upset

Celtic, meanwhile, are bottom of the group with one point from two games and will be looking to cause an upset against the English champions.

The Scottish champions have never reached the knockout stages of the Women’s Champions League, but they will be hoping to make history on home soil tonight.

The match is due to kick off at 8pm and will be shown live on BBC Scotland.
