'Election nerd' has created a survey for Regina's upcoming municipal election
Regina resident hopes to make upcoming civic election more accessible
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is open until October 14
Regina resident Bryce Wilson wants to make the upcoming civic election more accessible, so he’s created an online survey that asks people what issues are most important to them.
Wilson, a self-described “election nerd,” said he was inspired to create the survey after seeing low voter turnout in the last civic election.
“I think there’s a lot of people who are interested in the election, but they don’t know where to start,” Wilson said. “I hope this survey will help people learn more about the issues and the candidates, and make it easier for them to make an informed decision on election day.”
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and asks questions about a variety of issues, including:
- Taxes
- Infrastructure
- Public safety
- Environmental protection
- Affordable housing
Wilson said he hopes the survey results will help candidates better understand the concerns of Regina residents.
“I think it’s important for candidates to know what people are thinking about, so they can develop policies that address those concerns,” Wilson said. “I also hope the survey will help voters make more informed decisions on election day.”
The survey is open until October 14 and can be accessed at www.reginasurvey.ca.
