How hard is Paddy McGuinness's Children in Need 300-mile cycle?
Paddy McGuinness is taking on a 300-mile cycle challenge for Children in Need
The Top Gear star is cycling from London to Blackpool in just three days, and he's hoping to raise £1 million for the charity.
But just how hard is the challenge Paddy has set himself?
The route
The route Paddy is taking is far from flat. He'll be cycling through some of the hilliest parts of the country, including the Cotswolds and the Yorkshire Dales.
He'll also be facing some tough weather conditions, as the challenge is taking place in November.
The distance
300 miles is a long way to cycle in just three days. Paddy will be cycling for around 10 hours each day, with very little time for rest.
He'll also be carrying all of his own equipment, which will add to the challenge.
The terrain
The terrain Paddy will be cycling on is varied. He'll be cycling on roads, tracks, and even some off-road sections.
This will make the challenge even more difficult, as he'll have to constantly adjust his riding style.
The weather
The weather conditions Paddy will be facing are unpredictable. He could experience anything from rain and wind to snow and ice.
This will make the challenge even more dangerous, as he'll need to be extra careful on the roads.
The fundraising target
Paddy is hoping to raise £1 million for Children in Need. This is a huge amount of money, and it will make a big difference to the charity.
However, Paddy knows that he can't do it alone. He needs the support of the public to help him reach his target.
