Preview
The Wolf Pack are coming off a 26-8 season in which they won the Mountain West regular-season title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Nevada returns four starters from that team, including preseason All-Mountain West selection Grant Sherfield.
Weber State went 16-15 last season and finished sixth in the Big Sky Conference. The Wildcats return three starters from that team, including leading scorer Koby McEwen.
The Wolf Pack are a heavy favorite in this game, but Weber State has a history of playing Nevada tough. The Wildcats have won two of the last three meetings between the two teams, including a 79-76 victory in Reno last season.
The game is expected to be a high-scoring affair, as both teams like to play at a fast pace. Nevada is averaging 83.4 points per game this season, while Weber State is averaging 79.5 points per game.
