Ichiko Aoba Announces New Album 'Luminescent Creatures,' North American Tour

Japanese singer-songwriter Ichiko Aoba has announced her new album 'Luminescent Creatures' and a North American tour in support of the release.

'Luminescent Creatures' is Aoba's first full-length album since 2019's 'Windswept Adan.' The album is set to be released on February 17, 2023, via her own label Aobarecords.

The album was recorded in Tokyo and New York and features a mix of Aoba's signature folk-pop sound with new elements of electronica and ambient music. The album's title track is a collaboration with producer and musician Ryuchi Sakamoto.

In support of the album, Aoba will embark on a North American tour in March and April 2023. The tour will stop in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Philadelphia, and Boston.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday, December 9, at 10 am local time. For more information, visit Aoba's website.
