John Krasinski Is PEOPLE's 2024 Sexiest Man Alive!

The 'Jack Ryan' star, 44, has been named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive for 2024.

The actor and director is married to Emily Blunt, with whom he shares two daughters, Hazel, 9, and Violet, 6. Krasinski is best known for his roles as Jim Halpert on The Office and as Jack Ryan in the Amazon Prime Video series Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan. People magazine, the creators of the award, says that Krasinski "is one of the most likeable guys in Hollywood." He was one of the few actors the magazine has profiled who hasn't been accused of any misconduct and has never starred in an R-rated movie.

Krasinski was "so moved" by the honor, he says.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Krasinski said he was "so moved" by the honor. "It's such a nice compliment," he said. Krasinski is the third Sexiest Man Alive to hail from Massachusetts, joining Matt Damon and Bradley Cooper.

Krasinski says he's not sure what makes him sexy, but he thinks it has something to do with his "inner confidence." "I think it's just being comfortable in your own skin," he said. "I think that's what makes people attractive."

Krasinski is currently starring in the Amazon Prime Video series Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan. He is also set to star in the upcoming film Imaginary Friends, which he is also directing.
