Long Island Nets Fall Flat Against Westchester Knicks, 118-99

Slow Start Dooms Nets

The Long Island Nets were unable to overcome a slow start and fell to the Westchester Knicks 118-99 in NBA G League action on Friday night. The Nets trailed by 15 points after the first quarter and were never able to recover.

The Knicks were led by Quinton Rose, who scored 25 points. James McAdoo added 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Kadeem Allen chipped in with 20 points.

The Nets were led by Shannon Sharpe, who scored 19 points. Chris Chiozza added 17 points and 10 assists, while Bryce Brown chipped in with 16 points.

Defensive Struggles

The Nets struggled defensively all night, allowing the Knicks to shoot 50% from the field. The Knicks also outrebounded the Nets 52-35.

The Nets had several chances to get back in the game, but they were unable to capitalize. They missed several open shots and turned the ball over 15 times.
