Queen Camilla Is "Obsessed" With a Snack She Claims Is "Delicious" and Eats It With Her Grandchildren
Forget cucumber sandwiches and Earl Grey tea - Camilla, Queen Consort and wife to King Charles III, has revealed a rather different food obsession.
The royal has recently revealed that her new favorite snack is a far cry from the traditional treats often associated with royalty, according to the Daily Mail.
During a visit to a London community center, Camilla, 75, couldn't resist indulging in a taste of delicious-looking produce during a stop at a "Grow Your Own" food project.
After meeting with volunteers, Camilla was offered a piece of watermelon, which she happily accepted.
"I could eat this all day," she enthused, adding: "It's delicious... I am obsessed with watermelon."
Camilla's love of watermelon is a stark contrast to the more traditional snacks often consumed by the royal family and other members of high society in the United Kingdom.
In the past, the royal family has been associated with afternoon tea, cucumber sandwiches, and other delicate treats.
However, it seems that Camilla's sweet tooth has a more modern and refreshing preference.
It's not the first time that Camilla has expressed her love of food.
In the past, she has spoken about her passion for cooking and her love of traditional British dishes, such as roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.
However, her recent revelation about her watermelon obsession shows that she is not afraid to embrace new flavors and try different things, proving that even royalty can enjoy healthy and refreshing snacks!
