Han-Logement to begin construction on 48 new adapted units in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts

Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, QC - Han-Logement, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing in the Gaspésie region, is pleased to announce the construction of 48 new adapted units in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts.

The project, which will be located on a vacant lot on Rue de l'Église, will include a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, all of which will be accessible to people with disabilities.

The new units will be part of Han-Logement's existing housing complex, which currently offers 52 units for seniors and people with disabilities. The addition of these new units will help to meet the growing demand for affordable housing in the region.

"We are very excited to be able to offer these new units to the people of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts," said Han-Logement's Executive Director, Carole Arseneau. "There is a great need for affordable housing in our community, and these new units will help to fill that need."

The project is being funded by a combination of government grants and private donations. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2023, and the units are expected to be ready for occupancy in the fall of 2024.
