Scrooge Live 2023 Cast Announced
The fifth edition of the popular Christmas musical Scrooge Live is set to hit the stage in December, and the cast has just been announced.
The show will star Tony Award-winner Gavin Creel as Ebenezer Scrooge, alongside a cast of Broadway and West End stars.
Creel is best known for his roles in Broadway musicals such as "Hello, Dolly!" and "The Book of Mormon".
He will be joined by Olivier Award-winner Lesli Margherita as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Tony Award-nominee Alex Newell as the Ghost of Christmas Present, and Tony Award-nominee Tariq Trotter as the Ghost of Christmas Future.
The supporting cast includes

- Krystal Joy Brown as Mrs. Cratchit
- John-Michael Lyles as Fred
- Chelsea Packard as Belle
- Michael Thomas Holmes as Jacob Marley
The show will be directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Arden, with music by Tony Award-winner Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
Scrooge Live is a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic novella "A Christmas Carol".
The show tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old man who is visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve.
The ghosts show Scrooge the error of his ways, and he is ultimately transformed into a kind and generous man.
Scrooge Live will be performed at the Madison Square Garden Theatre from December 11-24, 2023.
