Sinner and Fritz US Open Final Rematch Headlines Turin Day 3

Sinner Dominates Fritz in Turin Rematch

Lorenzo Sinner of Italy cruised past Taylor Fritz of the United States in straight sets on Thursday to set up a semifinal clash with Novak Djokovic at the ATP Finals. Sinner, who defeated Fritz in the US Open final last month, was too strong for the American again, winning 6-4, 6-3 in just over 90 minutes.

Sinner's Strong Serve and Groundstrokes Prove Too Much for Fritz

Sinner's serve was a major weapon throughout the match, as he hit 11 aces and won 84% of points on his first serve. He also dominated from the baseline, hitting 25 winners to Fritz's 12. Fritz struggled to find his rhythm on serve, hitting just two aces and winning only 67% of points on his first serve.

Sinner's victory means that he has now won all three of his matches at the ATP Finals, while Fritz has lost both of his matches.

Sinner will face Djokovic in the semifinals on Saturday, while Fritz will play Andrey Rublev in the other semifinal.

Djokovic is the defending champion at the ATP Finals, while Sinner is making his debut at the event.

Fritz will be hoping to bounce back from his defeat to Sinner and finish the tournament on a high note.
