Lyft Driver Stabbed in Edmonton

Edmonton Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning in the city's west end.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., police were called to the area of 118 Avenue and 95 Street after receiving reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to hospital in serious but stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. Police are currently investigating the incident and have not yet released any suspect information.
