Stabbing in Edmonton leaves victim injured
Suspect still at large as police investigate
Edmonton police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the city’s downtown on Friday night. The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The incident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. in the area of 104 Street and Jasper Avenue. Police say the victim was involved in an altercation with another man when he was stabbed.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. He is described as a man in his 20s, with a medium build and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

This is the second stabbing in Edmonton in less than a week. On Monday, a man was stabbed to death in the city’s northeast.
